Kindness is like honey, sweet for the soul and good for the body

Updated: Mar 8, 2023

Too often we underestimate the power of our words. Forgetting the impact they have on others. Tossing words around carelessly, most times aiming at someone’s psyche. In today’s insta world of insta everything we are used to having immediate relief for most of our wants and needs, including our free speech, which allows us to share our inner monologue with the world. Having such accessibility sometimes causes us to be restless and temperamental. Easily falling prey to the “drama” and feeding the beast with negative thoughts and words. This only further perpetuates the pessimism that plagues our society. However, we can control certain aspects of our lives in order to maintain balance and create goodwill. Slowing down our thought process can begin to slow down response time. Therefore, forcing us to think about 3 things before we speak: Is it Kind? Is it True? And is it Necessary?

Have enough awareness to slow down and take the time to ask yourself these questions before you speak.

Reminder:

Kindness is like honey. Sweet for the soul, and good for the body!!! Smile at someone today, give them a compliment, hold the door open for someone, say G-d bless you to a stranger and try to find the beauty in life, it’s there, you just need to slow down to see and feel it. #kindnessmatters #useyourwords #slowitdown #dontbeanasshole✌🏼💗🕉🌟☺️💯
